Eva Longoria Tattoo
Eva Longoria was rocketed into the spotlight thanks to her starring
role on television’s hit series Desperate Housewives. Her portrayal of
fashionista Gabby has led many to associate Longoria with hip style,
feminine beauty, and a glamorous lifestyle. Consequently, some fans may
be surprised to learn that Longoria is the proud bearer of several
tattoos. Thus, she proves that body art can be sexy despite previous
stereotypes about tattoos.
Several of Eva Longoria’s tattoos honor her love and commitment to
her husband. The actress married San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker in
2007. Following her marriage, Longoria received a roman numeral tattoo
to commemorate their wedding day. Thus, on the inside of her wrist are
the numerals for July 7, 2007. The trend of getting a roman numeral date
tattoo has recently been quite popular among stars. In fact, a virtually
identical tattoo is part of Victoria Beckham’s body art collection. The
numerals are not the only tattoo Longoria has in honor of her love for
her husband. She also has his jersey number, nine, spelled out in Celtic
style letters on the back of her neck. However, some people have
disputed that the word actually spells “nine” and think Longoria could
have chosen a better design. Finally, another tattoo in Parker’s honor
allegedly contains his initials. However, Longoria has declined to
reveal the secret location of the ink. According to her, that tattoo is
for his eyes only.

In additional to the tattoos dedicated to her husband, Longoria also has
three other pieces of body art. First, on the inside of her left wrist
is a small star. A larger image, depicting a Celtic cross, can be found
on her lower back. This tattoo is a testament to her commitment to her
faith. However, her final tattoo, a flower on her right butt cheek,
likely has nothing to do with religion. If not for the mysterious
initials tattoo, this would be widely considered her sexiest and most
provocative marking. |
